Snow starting to go away.

March 3, snow must have melted off the grave stone, then a dusting recovered it. A few new items, a rock, some coins, and 3 nip bottles in the snow on the large grave stone.
March 2, 2022. Kerouac’s friend, Sammy Sampas (Sebastian G. Sampatacacus), died on this date in 1944. He was killed by wounds received during the Battle of Anzio, where he served as an army medic.
Sammy and Jack had a very close friendship, and Jack eventually married Sammy’s sister Stella.

March 1, 2022 – still covered in snow.
